Our academy was founded by Shawana Rehman, an experienced educator, trainer, assessor and advanced aesthetics professional with 25+ years of teaching experience and 20+ years of clinical experience across beauty, skin, laser and advanced aesthetics.
As Founder, Director and Head of Centre, Shawana is committed to providing high-quality professional training that gives learners the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to develop successful careers within the beauty and aesthetics industry.
Her background combines higher education, vocational teaching and assessment, healthcare experience, advanced skin and aesthetics qualifications, and extensive clinical practice.
25+ Years of Teaching & Education Experience
Shawana qualified as a teacher more than 25 years ago and has dedicated her career to education, training and professional development.
Throughout her career, she has taught, assessed and supported learners from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them develop practical skills, achieve recognised qualifications and progress within their chosen careers.

Alongside her teaching career, Shawana has more than 20 years of hands-on clinical experience in beauty, advanced skin treatments, laser and aesthetics.
She is also the Owner and Clinical Director of Park Skin Clinic & Laser Clinic in Nottingham, a working aesthetics and laser clinic where professional skin and aesthetic treatments are carried out.
This clinical experience plays an important role in the way training is delivered at Park Training Academy.
